Just discovered these flyers being posted through letter boxes around Churchdown.

Can't believe the consultation process is not complete or approved yet and already developers are ready to get the ball moving in regards to developing Churchdown green belt!!

Also just found the comments that Mactaggart & Mickel Homes made in the JCS consultation: Mactaggart & Mickel Homes Limited Consultation Comments

This is what the flyer says:

==================================================================

Public Exhibition for Cheltenham Road East, Churchdown

A residential development is proposed on land to the west of Churchdown.

The proposals by Mactaggart & Mickel Homes Limited aim to deliver a range of quality homes in a well-planned and attractive environment. The proposals will help to support local services and the wider community.

The development includes:

  • Up to 465 new homes including family homes and affordable dwellings.
  • New pedestrian and vehicular access arrangements taken from the Cheltenham Road East (B4063)
  • New accessible open space, play areas, sports pitch and complementary planting and landscaping

The development team is keen to obtain your views on the proposal and to share with the local community its ideas for the site to help inform a forthcoming planning application.

You are invited to attend a public exhibition between 3.00pm and 7:30pm on Thursday 4th September 2014 at Innsworth Community Hall, Rookery Road, Innsworth, GL3 1AU.

The exhibition materials will also be available to view online from 5:30pm on 4th September 2014 at www.macmic.co.uk/churchdown
