As a respondent to the Joint Core Strategy consultation we have received documentation through the post informing us that the secretary of state has appointed a planning inspector.

Elizabeth Ord will conduct an examination into the soundness of the JCS. The inspectors task is to consider the soundness of the plan.

According to the documents there are 3 options for us:

1.) If you are content to reply on your original representations and do not intend to provide any further written comments or attend hearing sessions then you don't need to do anything further. The inspector will take your submitted comments into consideration.

2.) If you have considered the Inspector's Matters and Issues and feel you would like to make further written comments but not participate in the hearing sessions you may do so. The deadlines for submission are:

- Friday 24th April 2015 at 17:00 for matters up to and including 10th June 2015

- Friday 12th June 2015 for all matters scheduled for 7th July 2015 or later

3) If you wish to participate within a specific hearing session please let the Programme Office know (details in link below) by Friday 24th of April 2015 at 17:00 together with an indication of what matter(s) you wish to attend.

More information will be posted on the JCS website http://www.gct-jcs.org/Examination/Examination.aspx
